There's been a drop in the number of smokers in almost every part of Kent.

Stats given to kmfm show Canterbury, Dartford and Dover have seen the biggest reduction in people lighting up since 2011.

In Medway, almost a quarter of the population was smoking 7 years ago - that had dropped to just over 17 percent last year.

The only place to buck the trend is Thanet where almost one in four people smoke.
