Despite falling just short of the final - a youth coach from Gillingham says England's performance at the World cup has inspired his team.
The national side were knocked out in the semi-finals, after losing 2-1 in extra time against Croatia.
But it was the furthest they'd gone in 28 years, which for the players of Strood United - proved influential.
Marc Kentsley is the Manager of their Under-10s team.
