Is social deprivation to blame for young people rioting in Londonderry? Or is it bad parenting? Kids as young as eight years old have been embroiled in the trouble but maybe they need understanding and not condemnation? There were serious disturbances in the city last week with the police attacked over six consecutive nights, petrol bombs thrown and - on one occasion - live rounds fired.
