07/16/2018 The Blitz Hour 2

Jul 16, 2018, 11:10 PM

Matt asks why sporting events can’t be shorter if it would be more entertaining, pointing out that soccer gets it right compared to baseball and football which can take 4 hours. Matt and AJ discuss what makes soccer okay or not okay to watch. Later, Matt explains why soccer is treated as a capitalist exploitation in the U.S., where it costs parents thousands per year just for their kid to play. He then explains the hardships he faced helping lead the Fort Bend Marshall girls soccer team, who had never won a game in the history of their existence.
