Tension remain high in Duk Pagak following weekend killings

Tension remains high in Duk-Pagak county of Jonglei state, after three traders were killed over the weekend.

Duk-Pagak County Commissioner, James Yen, says the tension has been triggered by reports that some suspects that had been arrested in relation to criminal activities have been released from jail.

James Yen, told Mach Samuel that immediate intervention is needed to harmonize strained relations between the communities and bring back the stolen cattle and merchandize.
