UNV Spotlights Wadia Mamania, Staff Welfare Officer
Throughout her professional career spanning over 10-years, Wadia Mamania, has focused on catering for the needs of vulnerable populations, such as juvenile delinquents, foster children, victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and many more conduct discipline related issues.
"It has always been a fulfilling desire to identify areas of concerns and assist clients in developing coping mechanisms, interventions, which will lead to a more positive outcome during their times of need," says Mamania.
She believes in her ability to provide conflict resolutions, implement case management and demonstrate communication skills, which she says enabled her to secure a position as a Welfare Officer with the UN Mission in South Sudan - UNMISS.
She spoke about her volunteering experience in South Sudan.
