WHO secures vaccine for pre-emptive Cholera campaigns in S. Sudan

The World Health Organization has secured more than 562 thousand doses of oral cholera vaccine, to conduct pre-emptive campaigns in South Sudan.
The cholera vaccines were dispatched to WHO by the Global Task Force on Cholera Control to mitigate the risk of cholera outbreaks in cholera transmission hotspots in South Sudan, including Torit, Yirol East, Yirol West and Panyiji.
