Despite record employment, wages are still stagnating and new research suggests workers are happy to up-sticks if it means finding a better job.

According to totaljobs, half of us are willing to relocate within the country, while two thirds are keen to move abroad.

And it seems big cities have the most pulling power for wandering workers, with London, Manchester and Edinburgh the top places to live.

But Mike Booker, Totaljobs’ director, says there’s also a sign Britain looks a less attractive place to the rest of the world
