A brother and sister who'll be joining other lifeguards patrolling Kent's beaches this summer say it's an important role.
20 year old Ellie and 22 year old Jamie Hopper have worked for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution for the past four years.
They'll be helping the instition run services at 10 beaches across Thanet and 3 in Sheppey until September.
