Moviegoers dependent on their MoviePass subscriptions were in for a surprise Thursday night when the convenient online ticketing service failed to work.
The $9.95-a-month popular movie subscription service temporarily halted this week when the company ran out of money, according to a regulatory filing cited by CNN.
