07/30/2018 The Bench with John and Lance Hour 1

The Bench starts off the show talking about the Astros having a tough time getting it together this weekend with all their hitters being hurt. The guys make a joke that the Astros are not doing so well because of the H-E-B curse. This weekend Clint Capela signed with the Rockets for $18 million per year, which is a good deal for both parties. In the past month, three players from the MLB had old tweets resurface that were deemed insensitive causing an uproar. Yesterday Trea Turner, SS for Washington Nationals, got in trouble for older inappropriate tweets from high school that contained some gay slur, gay comments and racial undertones.
