A man has divided opinion by asking if he should seek consent before trying to hold a woman's hand or putting an arm around her. He wanted to know if there was anyway to gain permission without it being awkward but still respecting boundaries? Most of the responses on the Reddit online forum said it was best to ask for permission while others said that it would kill the romance and spontaneity. So what do you think at home? Should you ask permission to hold your date's hand? Is that respectful or is it taking the idea of consent too far? Stephen spoke to commentators Tina Calder and Emma Woolf.
