kmfm's been told the recent heatwave has led to Kent's best tourism season in at least a decade.

The number of people visiting attractions in the county in June was up almost 5 percent on the previous year, and figures for last month are expected to be even higher.

The hottest temperature of the summer so far was recorded in Faversham on the 26th of July when it reached 35.3C - it's thought the warm weather could return towards the end of August.
