Shared Space Projects Are Dangerous, Why?

For many years now, sight loss charities have been campaigning against the implementation and construction of shared space projects in our town and city centres. 

When pedestrians and vehicles are forced to share the same surface, with no controlled crossings, there is a greater risk of accidents occurring, especially to those with sensory impairments or very young children.
