Citizens raise alarm about extortion on the roads

Motorists in Juba are voicing concerns about the increasing corruption on the roads perpetuated by traffic police officers in the city.

Radio Miraya understands that motorists are particularly concerned that traffic police are compromising road safety at the expense of extorting money from motorists.

We spoke to one frustrated citizen to share his experience of his encounter with a traffic officer.
