Business Owner and City of Sydney Councillor Angela Vithoulkas revealed to Katie & Jerome that she will stand as an Independent for the newly vacated Federal seat of Wentworth at the next election.

Vithoulkas will no doubt be campaigning for fair compensation for businesses affected by Sydney's light rail project.

Dozens of Sydney businesses have just joined a class action seeking around $40 million in compensation over disruption caused by the project.

It’s three years after construction started on the light rail network and many parts of the CBD still remain closed to traffic.

Vithoulkas is part of the class action. She owned the iconic Vivo Cafe on George Street for thirty years before she had to shut up shop.
