Meditation is a great way to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is a SKILL. When we can notice how we are thinking and feeling in the moment we gain the power to choose how we want to respond rather than reacting automatically. Practicing mindfulness develops this skill.

The skill of mindfulness helps us most when we can access it throughout the day rather than just during meditation. 

You can practice this mindfulness meditation with your eyes closed in a quiet place. Or you can listen to this meditation while tidying up or taking a walk.
