A new property bought by Tonbridge and Malling Council will help homeless families find temporary accommodation.

Council leader Nicolas Heslop says it'll save costs, but there'll be other benefits too.

Currently, there are 24 households placed in temporary accommodation in the region and the length of stay varies from a few nights to several months.
