Each Wednesday Enquirer Bengals columnist and Cincinnati native Paul Dehner Jr. and your ol ' pal Politics Extra Jason Williams – and regular guests – will tackle Greater Cincinnati-centric issues. In the debut podcast, tackled the future of The Banks and streetcar.

This week, we are pleased to welcome retired police officer of 26 years who spent his final 13 with Mason PD, Derek Bauman. We talk through the logistics of an active shooter incident from a police perspective, how training works and is applied, what community response means to officers and so much more through the unique perspective of somebody who knows about this types of incidents from the inside.
