UNICEF Perspective on Child mortality in South Sudan

Early this week, we reported about a new report which gave a grim view of children deaths around the world.

The report released by UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Population Division and the World Bank showed that an estimated 6.3 million children under 15 years of age died in 2017, or 1 every 5 seconds, mostly of preventable causes.

To put this into perspective is Kemish Kenneth Alier, Health officer working with UNICEF South Sudan.
