Alasdair Hooper and Will Moulton are back to bring you episode 28 of SportSpiel.

In our first segment we discuss:

  • WADA's controversial decision to reinstate Russia's anti-doping agency (3:58)
  • The hero that is Kristina Vogel (19:18)

Our feature interview section on this episode is with the second most capped player in England Rugby history Tamara Taylor (24:23).

Since making her debut aged in 2005, the 36-year-old has won six Six Nations titles – all of which have been Grand Slams – and was part of the first English team to reach number one in the world rankings in 2017 as they completed a historic away series victory over New Zealand.

She was a key component of the team that claimed the 2014 Rugby World Cup title, has appeared at three other showpiece events and was also named 2017 RPA Player of the Year, shortly after making her 100th international appearance.

With 115 international caps now to her name she is also using her status as a renowned international athlete to encourage others to get more involved in women's sport.
