SPLM-IO Liberation Council endorses revitalized peace agreement

The SPLM-IO National Liberation Council has endorsed the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan which was signed on 12 September. 

The ratification of the agreement by the SPLMIO liberation council opens way for the council leader to take part in the implementation of the pre-transitional period process expected to begin later this week.

 On the phone line from Khartoum, Peter Manawa SPLM/IO deputy Spokesperson told George Livio that the SPLM/IO will form a committee to mobilize people to disseminate the peace messages.
