Bishops visit refugees in Uganda; Implore Parties to implement deal

A delegation from the Sudan Catholic Church conference Council has embarked on a four-day hu-manitarian trip to Bidi Bidi Refugee camp in Uganda’s Arua district, to catch up with the situation of the South Sudanese sheltered there.
The camp is home to more than 270 – Thousand south Sudanese refugees who fled the conflict in South Sudan.
Led by the Catholic Bishop of Tambura Yambio Diocese Edward Hiboro Kusalla, the delegation met and interacted with the refugees, and updated them about the recently signed revitalized agreement.
Bishop Hiboro, says the refugees welcomed the new peace deal, but appealed to the parties to implement the agreement, restore peace, so they can return home.
