Like so many women in America, Samantha Bee had a rough time getting through last week. She took the stage to host the most recent episode of her Wednesday-night talk show, Full Frontal, dressed in a funereal black suit, her tense posture like a full-body cringe. “I’ve been doing a lot of Carrie-ing to get through it,” Bee said, referring to (what else?) the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.
