A rise in crimes on Britain's railways has been fuelled by an increase in violent and sexual offences. Police figures show overall, more than 61,000 crimes were reported in the last year - up 17% on the previous 12 months. Trespassing is also a growing problem - last night a train driver had to put on the emergency brakes after a group of children played chicken on a level crossing in #Yalding.
