Gilllingham have ended a run of 11 games in all competitions without a win, after beating Portsmouth 2-0 away
Goals from Tom Eaves and Alex Lacey in the first half also brought an end to the home side's unbeaten start to the season.
Gills Boss Steve Lovell says his side deserved the win.
