UNV Spotlight with Marinela Marquez Nuñez, Program officer

Marinela is the UNV Programme Officer of the UNV Field Unit at UNDP in South Sudan. 

Marinela has several years of experience in developmental and humanitarian engagements with her skills areas in programme management, DRR, gender, youth and children’s rights. 

Prior to her work in South Sudan, Marinela worked with International NGOs in Somaliland, Pakistan, Kenya, Nepal and in her home country Philippines. 

 Marinela is so passionate about volunteering; "Once a volunteer, always a volunteer," she says.
