GESS Celebrates major milestones in Girl Child Education in South Sudan

Today Thursday October 11 is the UN’s International Day of the Girl Child and the team leader Girls Education South Sudan, is embracing the opportunity to celebrate the major milestones made by GESS.
Speaking to Radio Miraya, Akuja De Garang, said her organisation has received a five-year donation package that will ensure girls in South Sudan continue with their education.
Akuja told Radio Miraya Reporter, Sworo Charles that more than one million girls were able to enroll in school since GESS Programme was launched in 2014.
