LISTEN: Organiser of the 'Long Walk Home' Brigadier James Richardson, Chief Exec of Haig Housing, says our support is needed to accommodate 100 veterans as they walk through Kent in November - 11/10/18

It's a month until a group of veterans will be marching through Kent - to mark 100 years since the end of World War One.

100 people will walk 100 miles from Ypres in Belgium to London, in time for the national rememberance event at the Cenotaph.

They're still in need of 20 host families each night to take in a pair of veterans at Dover, Canterbury and Medway - over the three days they're in the county.

Brigadier James Richardson is the Chief Exec of Haig Housing, who's organising it.
