Cockatoos and Murray Cod at Ulupna Island

Oct 14, 2018, 08:55 AM

The setting is soon after sunrise beside the Murray River in Victoria, Australia at a location called Ulupna Island in the Barmah National Park, which is the largest River Red Gum forest in the world. You can hear a variety of birds, particularly Cockatoos, as well as the creaking of a branch in the River. Near the end a fish jumps out of the water, which is thought to be a young Murray Cod. Recorded by Bassling.
