Figures seen by kmfm show the number of hate crimes against disabled people in Kent has more than doubled in a year.

347 were reported in county last year - that's up from 157 in the previous 12 months.

Joanne Silkstone from the charity United Response says it has a huge impact on the victims.

Kent Police say they're working hard to support victims, and the rise is probably because more people are feeling confident enough to report it.
