Hundreds of thousands attend #Brexit vote protest - but will it lead to another EU referendum?

The Brexit deal is 95% complete - but the Irish border issue is still not sorted. That's what the Prime Minister is expected to tell the Commons in a major statement later today. The Sunday newspapers were full of anonymous claims that Theresa May is facing a bloody end over her Brexit plans. She was said to be in a 'killing field', faced 'assassination' and was ordered to 'bring her own noose' to a 'show trial' convened by back-bench Tory Mps. A former minister was quoted in the Sunday Times warning the PM she faces being stabbed in the chest with a hot knife - that would then be twisted. This type of language was condemned by several MPs, including former Northern Ireland secretary, Theresa Villiers. So, will the electorate get a say on the Brexit deal when a deal is finally done - including a solution for the Irish border? At the weekend, up to three quarters of a million people took part in a march in London, demanding a People's Vote on the final agreement. Several hundred also protested at Belfast City hall.
