In yet another setback for Rana Kapoor, who is now trying to mend fences with Madhu Kapoor, the other large founder shareholder of Yes Bank, the Yes Bank board has recommended that the huge bonuses paid to him for the two years ended 31.03.2016 be taken back and that no bonuses be paid to him thereafter, till his tenure ends on 31.01.19. While the reasons for this harsh decision of the Yes Bank board are not known, it is certainly a sequel to the adverse observations of the RBI against Rana Kapoor/Yes Bank, in its annual inspections.
