High Ranking official handed 10 – Year – Jail Sentence for Rape

A high-ranking official has been sentenced to 10 – years in jail for raping a 9-year old girl. 

The former minister who now heads a committee for peace and healing in Pangak State, was found guilty by a court seating in in Pagak. 

Radio Miraya’s Gabriel Shaddar called up Reech Malual an advocate with Badri and Associates legal firm to bring us up to speed about this case.

Malual represented the victim in the case and explains the events leading to the court ruling.
