SRSG David Shearer emphasizes need for Trust to build lasting Peace in South Sudan

The Special Representative of the Secretary General has used the UN Day celebrations in Juba to emphasise the need for trust, to build lasting peace in South Sudan.

Speaking at the occasion in Juba, David Shearer, said the children and all those who have suffered in South Sudan need peace and peace needs trust.

He stressed that building trust and confidence is a collective effort.
