Tackling Garbage and litter needs to begin on a local level, but the city council also need to do more to clean the city and rid it of the menace of garbage heaps.
This is a view of Youth activists in Juba who under their “Nadafa Le Beledna” campaign launched a massive cleanup over the weekend to make not just the city clean but in their own words; “make the nation bright.”
Radio Miraya’s Moro Lokombu spoke to two of the campaigners; Michael Wani from OK Africa Foundation and Atong Amos Agook from the Assistance for Relief and Development agency organization.
We hear first from Michael Wani on why the youths are meeting every month to clean the city.
