Jesus shows us in our passage that He is the Lord of life - He has power over the dead. He said on another occasion, "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes" (John 5:21).

We consider two things:

First, in conversion, the Lord sovereignly raises you from the dead, and Second, He does this in a variety of ways. The Bible tell us that one day Jesus will return to raise all the dead. On that day He will bring everyone to judgment. Are you ready? #gospel #resurrection #salvation
