Joel and Barry talk about college basketball opening, the NBA and who to watch out for and Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving upset at Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray for trying to score 50 at the end of the game. The guys talk more about the Houston Rockets win against the Indiana Pacers and what they’ve seen over the past few games that has impressed the Suspects. They also discuss about the return of defensive coordinator Jeff Bzdelik and if the Rockets are still missing Trevor Ariza. Joel brings up Josh Reddick being upset about the MLB Awards. Barry brings up an argument he had with AJ Hoffman about Mike Trout. What constitutes MVP? Is it the best player or the most valuable? Barry thinks team record matters. Joel asks if J.D. Martinez plays every day, does J.D. win MVP? Both guys think Mookie Betts wins the MVP. The Suspects also go through the rest of the MLB Awards.
