Herefordshire Triathletes off to the world champs

Four members of Hereford Triathlon Club have qualified for the the World Age Group Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Vitoria, in Spain.

Stuart Austin, Claire Hebblethwaite and our very own Nicola Goodwin make up three-quarters of the Hereford representation, but for Kylie Mansfield, the journey to the World Championships has been remarkable.

Kylie has had to battle back from a debilitating illness that would have surely ended the career of many a lesser athlete. She has been talking to BBC Hereford and Worcester’s sports editor Trevor Owens....
