Young Lawyers Aid Rape and Sexual Assault Victims in South Sudan

For victims of rape or sexual assault, deciding to pursue justice in South Sudan can mean facing a daunting series of disappointments and frustrations and even worse not knowing where to find support.

A group of young lawyers in Juba have teamed up to help rape and sexual assault survivors navigate the legal system.

 Miraya’s Regina Gorle sat down with Reech Malual, Executive Director Screen of Rights, Badri and Associates and Robert Badri, Legal aid Officer to talk about the inspiration driving them.
