CTSAMM Technical Committee to Visit Wau next week

Senior generals from the government and opposition parties met in Khartoum for a fourth time this week, to discuss the status of implementation of the ceasefire.

On the first day of the meeting, parties were urged to clearly and forcefully communicate orders to field commanders, to cease hostilities and allow access to ceasefire monitors.  

The CTC is comprised of representatives from the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces, SPLA-IO, South Sudan Opposition Alliance, Former Detainees as well as the CTSAMVM leadership.

Ruth Fenny, CTSAMM communications officer, spoke with Miraya Breakfast Show host, explaining the major outcomes from the latest CTC meeting.
