In a special Armistice Day feature ITV's Vidar Hjardeng chats about the audio described productions of ‘War Hourse’ and ‘The Wipers Times’.

‘The Wipers Times’: Set during First World War in a little Belgian town of Ypres, mispronounced by the British soldiers as ‘Wipers’, two officers discover a printing press and create a newspaper to lift the troops’ spirits.

‘War Horse’: At the outbreak of First World War, a young man sets out on a treacherous journey to try and reunite with his beloved horse after it was sold off to the Calvary and shipped out to war.

Vidar is speaking with RNIB Connect Radio's Simon Pauley.
