It's been revealed more than 20 schools in Kent haven't been inspected by Ofsted in 10 years or more.

By law, schools which are rated as 'Outstanding' are exempt from routine checks.

There's 25 schools in Kent and Medway which have gone without a review - two were last inspected in 2006.

We asked parents in Rochester high street if these schools should still be checked regularly:

A spokesperson for Ofsted says they would like the law to change and have asked the Department for Education to look at the policy again.
