Bishops Synod Ends with Calls for forgiveness and Reconciliation

Bishops of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan have called on armed groups who have declined to the sign the revitalized peace agreement to lay down their arms and join the implementation of the revitalized peace deal. 

This was one of several recommendations that came out of a three-day synod held in Juba last week and attended by 55 Bishops. 

Speaking to Radio Miraya this afternoon, the Archbishop of the Episcopal church of South Sudan Justin Badi Arama said it is time for the people of South Sudan to enjoy the dividends of peace.
