Jack Garner lost his sight in a matter of months when he was just 11 years old, but that didn’t stop him from leading a daring and exciting life.

This year, Jack became the first British blind man to ascend the treacherous Mt Elbrus amidst temperatures of -37 degrees Celsius and winds of over 50 miles per hour.

Speaking with us Jack revealed how he caught the adventure bug and how he managed such an impressive feat.

Jack is chatting with RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley.
