Australian astrophysicist, Rodney Marks worked with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Antarctica. After a day's work, he became violently ill and suddenly passed away.

After a day’s work, Rodney Marks was an Australian astrophysicist, Rodney Marks, became violently ill. 24 hours later he was dead. But due to the harsh weather conditions, it would be six months before his body could be transported to New Zealand for a post-mortem examination. Results showed that Rodney had died from methanol poisoning. On the base were 49 other people, trapped in the winter cold. Was Rodney killed by one of his co-workers, or was his death a tragic accident?
