Glenn gets the show started by remembering Bob McNair and Joby Napier for their separate but equally important contributions to soccer in Houston, as well as Glenn’s thoughts on the upcoming Libertadores matchup between Boca and River Plate that has been planned to be played outside of Argentina due to violence incited during the last game. Glenn also recaps some of the MLS playoffs and breaks down how the Red Bulls collapsed to Atlanta 3-0. Glenn is also joined by Nayib Moran to discuss the Copa Libertadores vs Champions league based on the comparison that CONMEBOL President Alejandro Dominguez called the UEFA competition “Playstation” compared to real football. Afterwards they discuss the table in Liga MX and Santos’ ability to repeat this year.
