“Elections were illegitimate,” SSOA interim Chair Gabriel Changson Chang

The interim chairperson of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance, Gabriel Changson Chang says the election of Peter Gatdet as new chairperson last weekend was illegitimate. 

Changson Chang says the vote was called ad-hoc and denies the outcome.  

He also challenges assertions by party council member Dr. Lam Akol that there is a 6-month term limit for leadership.
