"Dignity is essential in Today's Migration processes," Says IOM Chief Jean - Philipe Chauzy

[...] "We really must push the message forward that dignity is essential in today’s migration processes because whether we like it or not migration is going to continue and increase in the decades to come so we must have the right tools to do that.”

 IOM Chief of Mission Jean-Philippe Chauzy,  says although states have a sovereign right to decide who crosses into their borders, they also have a responsibility to cooperate and ensure the rights of migrants are respected. 

Jean-Philipe Chauzy, spoke on the breakfast show, stressing that migration can be a win-win situation for both the migrants and host nations.
