Lockerbie Bombing - 30 Years On

On the 21st of December 1988, Pan Am flight 103 - en route from Heathrow to New York - blew up over the Scottish town of Lockerbie.

Passengers and crew plunged 30-thousand feet with the wreckage.

All 259 people on board were killed, along with 11 people on the ground.

It remains the worst act of terrorism on UK soil.
